Bassett rallied student participants of the National Youth Summit of the Movement of Anti-Trafficking Advocates (MATA) to fight human trafficking. Instead of spending their semestral break at home, student participants from all over the Philippines, trooped to the Ateneo De Manila University in Quezon City for a five-day workshop that opened on October 24. They will learn new skills to equip them as youth ambassadors back in their communities where they will spread the message of ending exploitation and trafficking.
