Hillary Rodham poses for her senior class

Hillary Rodham poses for her senior class portrait at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois, 1965. Raised in a Chicago suburb, Clinton was a girl scout and an active member of her church youth group. As a youngster, Clinton, like her father, was a Republican.

Clinton later attended Wellesley College and Yale Law School, where she met future president Bill Clinton. The two moved to Arkansas and married in 1975.

The future senator also worked as a lawyer and was one of only two female attorneys serving on the staff of the House Judiciary Committee when it considered the impeachment of President Richard Nixon.
