ROSAT II, BEPPO SAX II, GGRO II, CHANDRA II SAMPEX II, ASCA II,
Barbeito was born in Spain and lives and works in New York. He attended Yale where he
received a Master’s of Fine Art in painting. His work explores the interstellar and the
microscopic as they both lie beyond the observing eye. This series of prints utilize pixilated
and lunar images taken by NASA satellites, and at the center of each print is an image of the
actual satellite. His work is a combination of science and technology.
