Photographer Debra Bloomfield uses “available light” in her images, rather than using filters to create the illusion of light variation. Bloomfield’s Ocean series was taken in Hawaii and Florida and is great representation of what she is able to achieve through her time-intensive photography technique. Each of Bloomfield’s projects takes several years to complete - sometimes even ten years. Bloomfield believes that “the making of a photograph . . . is a part
