On April 2, Peace Corps Thailand swore in 54 new Peace Corps Volunteers in a ceremony presided over by Ambassador John and representatives from the Royal Thai Government at the Royal River Hotel. This new 54-member group of Peace Corps Volunteers -- the 120th to serve in Thailand since the Peace Corps arrived in January 1962 -- will join the group of 108 Peace Corps Volunteers already in Thailand working on a Teacher Collaboration and Community Outreach Project and a Community Based Organizational Development Project.
