On July 11, 2008, U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Eric G. John enjoyed an eventful day in Phitsanulok. Ambassador John started off the morning by attending an e-Center dedication at the Wat Photi Yan school and visiting the Monsanto Seed Factory with members of the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service and the American Chamber of Commerce. Following a lunch hosted by the president of Phibulsongkram Rajabhat University, Ambassador John joined a concert at the University, where he thrilled the audience by performing on the trombone with the Ambassador Brass band. The concert was followed by a presentation to university students about the United States and a meeting with rajabhat university presidents from around Thailand. The visit came to an end with a dinner hosted by Phibulsongkram Rajabhat University.
