U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe addressed remarks on Transatlantic security issues to students and faculty at the inauguration of the 2008-9 academic year at Warsaw’s Lazarski School on September 19, 2008. The Ambassador’s remarks paid particular attention to the Antiballistic Missile Defense agreement recently concluded between the United States and Poland and how it fits into NATO’s defense plans.
