The Delegation visited the United States Air University (AU) at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama. The Delegation met Secretary of Defense Robert Gates at the AU and also took part in visits and briefings about the Air War College, Air Command and Staff College, Squadron Officer College, Squadron Officer School, Air and Space Basic Course, Noncommissioned Officer Schools including the Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy.
