U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe gave an interview for TV Silesia in Katowice on Tuesday, June 24 as he began a two-day tour in the Bielsko-Biala area of southern Poland. After the interview, he met with Wiesław Stamborski, Mayor of Lędziny, before heading to Bieruń. There he met with Jan Podleśny, Deputy Mayor, and Henryk Skupień, Chairman of the city council, before taking a short tour of St. Valentine church, which is one of the oldest wooden churches in Silesia.
