On behalf of the US Ambasador, Colonel Tim Burke and Mr Robert Orzylowski from the Office of Defense Cooperation with Colonel Walt Munyer from the Defense Attache Office attended the opening ceremonies of Lask Air Base, where the newest Polish F-16 squadron has been activated. During the arrival ceremony, three flights of F-16s flew past the crowd before landing. The brigade commander, Brigadier General Usarek, base commander Col Lesnikowski, and the new squadron commander, Lt Col Malinowski, hosted a splendid welcome party for the guests.
