U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe hosted a reception for Poland’s Forum of Young Diplomats on October 27, 2008. The Ambassador praised the FYD members for their decision to devote their attention to international relations and Poland’s place in the world. FYD’s membership includes business and government professionals, as well as representatives of nongovernmental organizations. After the Ambassador’s remarks, Forum President Kasia Pisarska spoke, thanking the Ambassador for the Embassy’s support for the organization’s programs. Pisarska is an alumna of the Fulbright program.
