U.S. President George W. Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush visited Poland on June 8. President and Mrs. Bush met with Polish President Lech Kaczynski and Mrs. Maria Kaczynska at Poland’s presidential retreat in Jurata on the Baltic Sea. The visit, the third of President Bush to Poland during his presidency, underscored the close friendship and strategic ties between Poland and the United States. President Bush looks forward to welcoming President Kaczynski to the White House on July 16.
