The Media training workshop on the “Role of the Media in Promoting Free and Fair Elections in Nigeria,” was organized by the U.S. Embassy, Abuja in collaboration with Ruyi Communications Ltd. Three U.S. media specialists - Stephen C. Coon, Arnold R. Isaacs, and Mike Beardsley was joined by three Nigeria media veterans drawn from the print and electronic media, as facilitators and trainers to the more than one hundred journalists participating in the five-day workshop at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
