SUNY-MGU Partnership Anniversary. On Monday, October 30 Ambassador Burns hosted a reception in honor of the 30th anniversary of the State University of New York's educational partnership with Moscow State University. In their remarks, MGU Rector Viktor Sadovnichiy and SUNY Chancellor Emeritus Dr. John Ryan underscored the value of bilateral cooperation in education and research and their innovative approach to dual degree programs. The guests enjoyed an outstanding concert of American vocalist Arlee Leonard and the Ivanov Brothers jazz ensemble.
