Ambassador Victor Ashe at the Fire Service College in Krakow
 
Ambassador Victor Ashe visited the Fire Service College in Krakow (Nowa Huta) on May 26. Amb. Ashe met with college director Brigadier Bogusław Kogut and his two deputies, Senior Brig. Lesław Adamiak and Brig. Andrzej Barnaś. The Ambassador learned about the College’s 50 year-history, its current programs and prospects for the future. He also toured the college’s operations center and garages, where he saw fire equipment, including a 30 meter-long U.S.-made firetruck ladder.
