From May 22-26, 2008, U.S. breast cancer surgeon, Dr. Balazs Bodai, traveled to Skopje, Tirana and Pristina to discuss breast cancer awareness-raising efforts in the United States and around the world. He also described the U.S. Breast Cancer Research Stamp, which has raised almost $70 million dollars for breast cancer research and prevention since 1998, and which was his creation. Hungary, Micronesia, Nicaragua and Belize are among the other countries that have also issued this Stamp. Kosovo will do so in October 2008.
