King Hussein of I of Jordan confers with President Johnson April 14 at the White House in Washington. Mr. Johnson later described the meeting as “very productive and very constructive” and said they had discussed mutual problems and had reviewed the general world situation. He hailed the Jordanian ruler as “a wise and effective leader for peace.” King Hussein spent three days in the U.S. capital as part of a two-week official visit to the United States. (64-1506)
