Consul general Sharon A. Wiener officially opened the photo exhibit titled "Between Friends: Turkish -American Diplomatic Relations" supported by the U.S. Mission Turkey at the Kocaeli Chamber of Industry. The exhibit includes 48 photos taken between the years of 1922 - 2007 collected from U.S. and Turkish archives, including some from private collections in American presidential libraries. The Governor of Kocaeli, the Mayor and the board members of the chamber attended the opening of the exhibit and reception, which was sponsored by the Chamber.
