Jno Didrickson, a Native American born in Juneau, Alaska, and belonging to the Tlingit tribe on his mother's side, opened his Alaskan Native art exhibition, the first of its kind in Turkey, at the Teksin Art Gallery in Istanbul. Alaskan Artist Jno Didrickson opened his first native artwork exhibition in Istanbul. An interview by Turkish Daily News ran a striking story of the artist's and Native Americans' artworks. The exhibition was also reported by NTV's Gunduz & Gece (Night and Day) Cultural Program and NTV Radio. The exhibit showed that art connects and speaks to people from different continents.
