The Betty Mae Fikes Blues Band performed at Bursa's one of the hippest venues, a rock bar, and thrilled the large group of young audience. In addition to the concert, the band gave a master class at Bursa's new and the only Fine Arts High School Zeki Muren Anatolian School. The group featured a well known Turkish blues guitarist Mehmet A. Acet on lead guitar. The program coordination was supported by the American Corner in Bursa.

Betty Mae Fikes Blues Band gave a concert at Studio Live, Beyoglu in Istanbul. They also did a workshop at Marmara University, Education Faculty, Music Department, Goztepe Campus.

Betty Mae Fikes and the Blues Band was hosted by one of the top four weekday women's shows during which she was interviewed and sang two songs.

The band's program in Turkey was dedicated to the Turkish cofounder of Atlantic Records, Ahmet Ertegun.
