On March 25, 2009, Ambassador James B. Cunningham Delivered Opening Remarks at the Conference: “30 Years Since the Peace Treaty Between Israel and Egypt” at the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace, on the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. He addressed the hard political decisions and diplomatic negotiations necessary to reach peace, and the lasting impact of the treaty.
