The ruins of the Northern Palace are in contract to the reconstructed walls of the Southern Palace. Funding for the $700,000.00 Future of Babylon Project, through the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Office, will address needs such as conservation, future scientific research, and development for future tourism.
