Ambassador Roemer and his wife, Sally, met with women at Dastkar Ranthambore, a women's self-help initiative, November 6, 2009. The two toured the facility and purchased a number of beautiful crafts. The organization works to revive and sustain indigenous crafts and provide livelihoods to women from villages affected by the formation of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
