An American delegation including influential Hungarian-Americans attended the October 23 commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution in Budapest. The delegation was selected to honor the contributions of talented Hungarians to the democratic values, personal liberties, social achievements and economic development of the United States: New York Governor George Pataki (head of the delegation); U.S. Ambassador to Hungary April Foley; Peter Gogolak, former professional player of the New York Giants; and Steven Udvar-Hazy, chairman of world leader aircraft leasing firm International Lease Finance Corporation.
