May 28/29, 2007. Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and a bipartisan Congressional Delegation commemorated Memorial Day with U.S. Marines and retired veterans at the Allied Museum in Berlin. She also met with Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the German Minister for the Environment Sigmar Gabriel. On May 29, Pelosi met with Chancellor Angela Merkel, one week before the G8 summit in Germany.
