At the beginning of the day, Ingo Hvid from Hillerød City Council had warned Ambassador Cain that the heavy rain that day increased the risk of punctures. After about 45 minutes Ambassador Cain had his first flat on the tour. Fortunately he was accompanied by Novo's bicycle team and they changed the tire in under two minutes.
