In Admawa, Ambassador Garvey met with students at the Ngaoundere municipal library; visited the health center; discussed health and education matters with women groups; met with Ngaoundere’s three newly elected Mayors; with the Fulbright Alumni Association; and with the Lamido of Ngaoundere who dazzled her with a wonderful Fantasia. In the North, she presided over the inauguration of a fourteen-station computer laboratory launched a 30-photos exhibit commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cameroon at the Garoua American Corner.
