During Ambassador Garvey's recent visit to the U.S., she spoke to 100 Kennedy School students in Middletown, Rhode Island. They learned about Cameroon culture, language and lifestyle. The students asked the Ambassador many intriguing questions about her job as Ambassador. During her presentation she told the students that " Diplomats and Ambassadors are really the face of the United States government abroad." The students wrote some fascinating letters to the Ambassador; here are a few samples. Ambassador Garvey will be making visits to Cameroonian schools to share the American culture and society.
