Ambassador Nancy McEldowney and the Deputy Chief of Mission of the German Embassy Gudrun Steinacker offered congratulations and support for the Bulgarian Energy Forum at the launch of their energy portal website on Tuesday, June 16, 2009. In her remarks presented to energy experts, NGO representatives, and the energy portal design team, Ambassador McEldowney underscored the importance of their work and said that “we need to lift the veil of secrecy and eliminate the complexity that obscures the energy issues because energy is what creates the very framework for the social well-being across this country and across the world.” This energy portal is intended to provide a wide range of energy information for industry members and the general public.
