The American Embassy, in collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has created a 20-minute film illustrating the history of the relationship between the United States and Belgium, from the first explorers in the 17th century to today. It is a moving testimonial to a long-standing friendship and partnership between the two countries. An accompanying exhibit reinforces the film through detailed, historical documents, images and texts in Dutch, English and French. The exhibit will be open to the public, free of charge, from December 2, 2008 through March 2, 2009 at Tour & Taxis, Brussels
